1. Basic Overview

Wire rope electric hoists have the advantages of compact structure, light weight, small volume, strong universality of components and convenient operation. It can be installed independently on I-beams or used in conjunction with electric or manual single-girder, double-girder, cantilever, gantry and other cranes.

2. Main Components

The wire rope electric hoist is composed of several detachable individual components, mainly including the hoisting reducer, traveling mechanism, drum device, hook device, motor, electrical control device, etc.

Lifting reducer: It adopts standard module helical gear three-stage reduction. The gears and gear shafts are forged from alloy steel and undergo heat treatment. All adopt rolling bearings, the box shell is made of cast iron, the assembly is tight, and dust is not easy to enter.

Operating mechanism: The operating mechanism of the electric hoist is electric, while the fixed type does not have this mechanism. The gear positions of its reducer are forged from alloy steel and undergo heat treatment. It adopts two-stage reduction and all use rolling bearings. The box shell is made of gray cast iron.

Drum device: When the lifting height H=6-12m, the drum is made of cast iron. When H>12m, it is a steel drum. Its left end is connected to the hollow shaft of the reducer output by a spline, and the other end is mounted on the protruding part of the front end cover of the motor by a rolling bearing. The outer shell of the drum is made by rolling steel plates. The steel wire rope is wound according to the spiral grooves on the drum. One end of the rope is fixed to the drum with a rope pressing plate, and the other end is fixed to the outer shell with a wedge-shaped plug block.

Hook device: The hook is forged from DG20 hook special steel and is suspended on the rolling bearing. It is connected to the hook housing with a crosshead, allowing the hook to rotate and swing freely.

Electric motor: The motor generally used is a conical motor, which automatically locks the brake when it stops. The steel wire ropes that are matched with it include phosphated coated steel wire ropes, galvanized steel wire ropes and smooth steel wire ropes.

Electrical control device: It is used to control the start, stop, running direction, etc. of the electric hoist.
